What we collect, and why.

This policy covers thethinkweb.com. It explains what we collect when you visit or contact us, what we do with it, and how to get it removed. It does not cover the websites we build and operate for our clients, each of which publishes its own policy.

Thinkweb is operated from 8448 Gulf View Dr Suite D, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379. If anything here is unclear, email contact@thethinkweb.com and a person will answer.

What we collect

There are only two ways we collect anything from you.

When you fill in a form

Our contact and proposal forms ask for some or all of the following, depending on the form:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your business name and website address
• Which services you are interested in
• Whatever you write in the message field, including timeline and budget if you tell us

We only ever get this because you typed it and pressed send. We do not buy contact data, and we do not enrich what you give us with information bought from anyone else.

When you browse the site

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. It records things like which pages you viewed, roughly where in the world you are, what kind of device you used, and which site sent you to us. It does not tell us who you are.

Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a bot. It looks at signals from your browser to make that judgement.

Both of these set cookies. The cookie policy explains which ones and how to refuse them.

Why we collect it

• To reply to you. If you ask us for a proposal, we need a way to send it.
• To keep a record of the conversation so that if you come back in six months we know what we discussed.
• To understand what works on our own website, which is the same thing we do for clients.
• To keep spam out of our inbox.

We do not use your information to serve you ads, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you filled in a contact form. If we ever start sending a newsletter, you will have to ask for it.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. A small number of services process data on our behalf so the site can function:

• Vercel hosts the website and processes the requests your browser makes.
• Supabase stores form submissions in our own customer database.
• Resend delivers the notification email that tells us you got in touch.
• Google Analytics processes the anonymous usage data described above.
• Cloudflare provides the anti-spam check on our forms.

Each of these is a well-established provider with its own privacy terms. We would also disclose information if a law or a valid legal request required it, which has not happened to date.

How long we keep it

Form submissions stay in our customer database while there is a reasonable prospect of working together, and for the life of the relationship if we do. Analytics data is retained on Google's standard schedule. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except where we are required to keep a record such as an invoice.

Your choices

• Ask what we hold. Email us and we will tell you.
• Ask us to correct it if something is wrong.
• Ask us to delete it. We will do it and confirm when it is done.
• Refuse the cookies. See the cookie policy.

Email contact@thethinkweb.com for any of these. We aim to respond within one business day and we will not make you prove a legal right before we help you.

Children

This is a business to business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects information we already hold about you, we will tell you directly rather than rely on you noticing.
